  • 12 oz ground beef
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Let’s make it

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high

Fluff the rice just before serving and divide the toppings evenly. Serve promptly, then cool any leftovers in shallow containers rather than leaving them in the warm pot.
