Effective September 21, 2026. This policy describes the Cooks Court recipe website, based in California, United States.
Information used to provide the site
You can browse Cooks Court without an account. When you request recipe matches, the ingredients and preferences you confirm are sent to our server to compare against our recipe library. The application does not save your ingredient list to a customer database or send it to an AI provider.
Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and errors to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the site. Our production hosting provider is Vercel. Its infrastructure practices and retention are governed by its service terms and privacy policy.
Saved recipes and browser storage
Save Recipe stores recipe identifiers in local storage on your device. Saved recipes are not linked to an account or synced between devices. Select Saved recipe again to remove an entry, or clear this site’s browser data to remove local saves.
Cooks Court uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and site usage. Google may use analytics cookies and collect page URLs, referrers, interactions, and browser and device information. Google processes this information under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our site tag. We do not add ingredient lists or voice transcripts to analytics events. You can block analytics using browser privacy tools or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Hosting and security infrastructure may also use technical mechanisms needed to serve and protect the site.
Voice input and unavailable features
Voice input is optional and uses speech recognition supplied by your browser where supported. Your browser may send audio to its speech service under that provider’s policies. Cooks Court receives the resulting transcript for ingredient entry, not an audio recording. You can type instead and revoke microphone access in your browser settings.
Photo ingredient recognition and custom AI recipe creation are disabled. No uploaded ingredient photos are accepted for analysis. There are no active accounts, newsletter signup collection, checkout or payment processing features.
Photos and external links
Recipe photographs are served from site assets. Pexels-sourced photographs include photographer and source credits on recipe pages; visiting a credit link takes you to Pexels. Browsing our recipes does not require a visitor account with Pexels.
Retailer, social and photo-credit links lead to independent websites. Their privacy policies govern information they collect when you visit them. Current kitchen retailer links are ordinary search links without active affiliate tracking identifiers.
Your choices and updates
You can browse without entering ingredients, use typed input instead of voice, remove local recipe saves, and manage site storage and permissions in your browser. Clearing local storage may remove saved recipe selections.
Policy changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date. This policy covers the current site; any future newsletter, account or AI service will require an updated description of its data handling.
